This is a simple floating well-proven oil skimmer that works with any pump that can pull suction. The unique FWS never needs manual adjustment. NEVER!

How & why it works!
This skimmer starts off with the sump filled with water and/or oil, which floats the weir to the closed position. As fluid is pumped from the skimmer sump, the buoyant flow control weir, automatically self adjusts (drops) — allowing an equal amount to flow across the weir and into the floating skimmer head. It’s so simple—yet VERY effective. It always skims—the surface, ALWAYS! Works with any pump that can pull suction.
The depth of the skimmer cut or surface skim, is controlled and set—by the volume pumped from the skimmer sump, allowing a surface skim from 1/32" to 1-1/4".
No manual adjustment needed—ever!
The floating weir skimmer self adjusts instantly and automatically to pump flow rate and any wave action. Works great with any vacuum truck!
No training required! Bubba-proof!
(Sizes from 5-3,000 GPM) installation = simple—just attach a hose and put it in.
This non-selective floating skimmer creates a floating hole in the water!
Everything on the surface near it—is attracted by the waterfall flow across the weir—and flows into it—and then pumped out (by others). They are very effective as long as you can handle the water that actually carries the oil to it. Used properly it can influence (skim) a large area—FAST. Works great with a vac-truck—makes it much more effective. With a control wand or by using guide ropes tied to the handles, you can move it across the surface—right to the oil or floating stuff. It acts almost like an upside down vacuum cleaner head. By controlling your pump—you can adjust the cut or skim off the surface—from 1/8" to 2" off the top. It automatically self adjusts! How about 1/8" off the top?
One man can easily handle the smaller skimmer units.

Also available with a fixed weir—floating skimmer which lets you skim oil only—if you can work with leaving a small cap of oil in place. The fixed weir floating skimmer sinks in oil but floats in water. Leave it in place and you can skim floating oil only as the oil cap increases. Requires one initial adjustment—then you’re done.
