High Bilge Water Alarm OVERVIEW The Liquid Smart™ Alarm Switch is a combination capacitive and optic solid-state switch designed for an alarm circuit only. This switch is a low amp, controller that will activate with the presence of any liquid and will then identify and notify the end user that Oil or Water is present when used with OilSmart panels. ADVANTAGES In addition to its high tech fail safe circuitry, the circuit has numerous advantages over present switches: It is U.L. Listed. It has low cost, superior reliability. It has solid state circuitry - no exposed sensors, no relay or moving parts. clog proof All materials are impervious to substances common to boat bilges. Testing Liquid Smart™ Sensor: Fill small cup supplied, with water or oil. Submerge only the plastic lens (optic sensor) into water or oil, the alarm will activate showing oil present yellow light. Now touch finger to the exposed Stainless Steel Sensor and the white water light will turn on. Place the high water alarm switch at the highest liquid level desired, above the normal OFF level of the pump controller.
