Liquid Bag Filter Vessels & Strainers

These "RetroFit Systems" Bag filters are in-line filters that can be installed almost anywhere you need to get some type of dirt, pipe scale or other contaminants out of your liquid stream to protect both equipment and/or processes in water, chemical and petroleum product applications.

Available with 1-2-3 up to 17 bags in them, and standard at 150 psi.

All of our vessel’s baskets seal to a Viton® O-ring to prevent by-pass, have standard vent and gauge ports and the quick swing closures with eyenuts are easy to get into without tools = fast!

The real advantage of bag filters is their flexibility. Need finer filtration? Tighten up on the bag micron rating. It’s that simple.

Don’t need fine filtration, but want to protect a pump or nozzles?

Use the bag filter vessel without the bag insert. All have a re-strainer basket to hold the bag. The basket is a rugged #316-SS perforated metal shell that can double as a strainer. Perfs from 1/16" - 1/4".

Connection sizes from 3/4" to 12" Epoxy coated Carbon or Stainless. These filters are available in 4"- 6" and 8" diameters. Single or double length. Standard units are usually on the shelf and ready to go!

Housing Operation: Unfiltered liquid enters the housing above the filter bag or strainer basket, flows down into the housing, and continues through the element. Solids are trapped inside the filter bag or strainer and easily removed when the housing is serviced. Out stanard O-ring seal between the basket and the housing ensures a positive seal to prevent bypass.
