Oil Boom WaterRiser System (WRS)

​SkimOIL's Oil Boom WaterRiser System (WRS) allow containment boom to ride varying water levels - rising and lowering along the length of a vertical, 4" x 4" flange-beam ​ (customer-supplied and installed). The Oil Boom WaterRiser System (WRS) are shipped from the plant completely assembled. If the top of the flange beam is open, the connector can simply be slipped down over the top. If the beam is not open, remove four bolts holding the connector's roller arms together and reassemble on the beam. SkimOil's Oil Boom WaterRiser System (WRS) come ready to connect to any boom (up to 6"-dia. flotation x 12" skirt) equipped with an Quick Latch coupler.

​Hose Floats

SkimOilHose Floats are produced by a urethane "sandwich" process, with a damage-resistant outer shell and a light, high-floatation closed cell foam inner section. Half sections are easily joined around the hose by means of a Quick Snap, gear-type stainless steel hose clamp. Only a screwdriver is required to tighten the clamp after snapping it into place. Unlike hollow plastic-type floats, SkimOil Hose Floats will maintain virtually full flotation capacities even though damaged almost to destruction.
